Moidrey mill, situated 3 miles from the Mont Saint-Michel, dates from 1806 and has been brought back into service after more than a century of neglect and a restoration operation which was completed in 2003.
It was given UNESCO world heritage status in 2007.
Since its restoration the miller has been grinding flour from buckwheat, wheat, rye and other grains, and conducts guided tours of the mill with enthusiasm and humour (duration 35 minutes).
