Tourism
Built in the second half of the 12th century, the Abbey was restored in the 15th and 17th century. In a shady and picturesque site, rise the Romanesque constructions, of Cistercian spirit because of their sobriety and their rigor. The whole is dominated by an Anglo - Norman tower which already announces the Gothic architecture.
Nestled in the valley of the Thar since the twelfth century, the abbey of Lucerne, has benefited for 50 years of protection and a remarkable restoration work.
This architectural ensemble strikes with the intimacy and strength of its history led by passionate men. The emotion starts with the absolute stripping of the premonstrated architecture, its great luminosity and the preserved authenticity of its environment
